Alessia Vezzoni
Italian Language

Originally from Cremona, Alessia received her MA in Modern Philology from the University of Pavia and earned her PhD in Italian Literature from the University of Siena. Her research and publications have focused on Carlo Emilio Gadda, his mother Adele Lehr and their correspondence, with particular regard to the letters of the First World War.

In 2016, she also taught Italian Philology at the University of Siena.

Since 2015, she has been teaching Italian language to foreigners (adults, US University students and Catholic seminarians) at the ‘Scuola Dante Alighieri – Comitato di Siena’,  also collaborating with co-curricular cultural activities, specifically in the historical-linguistic, literary, and historical fields.
