Wendy Young
Music Coordinator / Harpsichord
Wendy Young has performed at many of America’s major concert halls, at numerous festivals, and with many early music ensembles, as well as dance and theatre groups.
Her specialty is 17th and 18th century keyboard performance practices, and in addition to teaching harpsichord, she enjoys teaching the art of teaching Baroque music to pianists.
In addition to her classical training, Wendy has been studying the healing effects of sound, music, and vibration for almost 30 years, and co-directed the Sound and Music Institute, a 9-month training program in therapeutic sound and music, at the New York Open Center, is the director of the Princeton Sound School, and is the Director of Education for the International Sound Therapy Association.
